The kyokushi or office paper is produced in Tosa, Imadate. The sheet is produced by the tamezuki method; the screen is covered by a sha (silk cover to reduce chain lines). It is a thick paper used for deluxe editions, particularly in Europe. It was presented in 1878 at the Universal Exhibition in Paris.
