Aire de croissance

Most of species of bamboos are native to Asia, most of them located in hot and humid South-East regions. They are found at altitudes varying up to 3000 m in the Himalayas.
Dendrocalamus affinis grows in river valleys, hilly areas at an altitude of 800–2100 m.
China (Guizhou, West Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan).
